[-] Character Description AND Picture: Reno is striking in appearance, to say the least. Whether he is 'strikingly attractive', or just 'strikingly noticeable' is up to whoever it is that sees him to form their own opinions. Tall, and lanky with bright red hair, it is difficult not to notice him, that is, if you didn't hear him coming first. As with most of his personal details, exact specifics are unknown, but his weight is without a doubt at the lower end of the recommended weight for his height, whilst he does what he can to make an impression with his appearance in other means. His uniform is worn possibly not as scruffy as he could make it if he wished, but not following the rules that one would generally ascribe to someone in a business such as himself. His fringe is kept back by a pair of sunglasses.. These are presumably for decorative purposes only, since he never wears them on his face. Beneath his eyes which seem to be some miscellaneous shade of blue, are symmetrical red tattoos.

[-] Character Personality: Reno's personality can be firmly divided into two. One, the more common, and the one that most people see, is the arrogant, stubborn and cynical joker; the man that takes little seriously and will complain about the slightest thing. For the most part, this is a fairly accurate view of him; he is arrogant and obnoxious, he will take the mickey out of anything and everything should he be able to think of something witty to say.
However, this rather rebellious and easy going side to his personality is greatly contrasted with the type of person he is at work. Contrary to what most might expect, he is a man who is exceptionally proud of his job, and is very serious to matters relating to it. To discredit his job is an insult to him, to make light of those personality traits that make him good at his job, is even worse.
Reno is a man with whom it is difficult to truly get along with; he seems to enjoy being deliberately difficult. However, should he consider a person a friend, he is exceptionally loyal, a trait he places above most. Trust is something hard to come by, and should one have earned it from him, it is a grievous insult to claim that he himself is not worthy of trust.
Reno is a Turk. That is, he is, or rather was, employed by the ShinRa Electric Power Company, prior to its collapse after Sephiroth's first attempt to destroy Gaia. Whilst ShinRa is not the entity it once was, Reno, and three of his fellow Turks remain employed by Rufus ShinRa, president of the company.
Reno's job itself underwent many changes through the years, although it is unclear what the Turks were originally employed to do. As the ShinRa Company grew in size – and corruption – the Turks (official name; Investigative Division of the General Affairs Department) became a far more lethal force, employed to recruit for SOLDIER, and, more commonly, exact the Presidents wishes, whether that be acting as bodyguards, or disposing of those the President and the Company wished to be rid of, in whatever means necessary.
It is therefore particularly obvious that those chosen to be the elite of ShinRa, merciless killers who acted blindly on orders, the 'perfect' employees, almost, are not the nicest of people; selfish would probably be one word that could be easily attributed to most, if not all, since only one who is selfish could have such an apparent disregard for lives other than their own.
